I’m passionate about fitness, health and helping others achieve their goals and as a result their best life.

A little background on me

I have always been passionate about sports, as a young girl I was playing every sport I could get my hands on, at times shuttling from dance to football practice. As I got older I focused my energy and drive on soccer, playing at the elite club level, both premier and major league and on to the varsity level. Following university I developed a passion for running and competing in half marathons and marathons. As I looked to push myself again I took on triathlon training 2 years ago. I now compete in the half ironman distance with my sights set on Ironman Canada and one day qualifying for Kona by 2015.

I love working with all ages and fitness levels, I am particularly excited about working with women and young athletes. When it comes to women and fitness I believe that too often women are scared off by a daunting gym atmosphere- this is something that I am committed to changing. Women can and should be comfortable working on and achieving their own fitness and lifestyle goals to benefit their self-esteem, confidence and overall happiness. I love working with young athletes, helping them to take their fitness and sport related goals to the next level. Young athletes are at a point in their lives when the possibilities are endless and I want to help them realize that and get wherever they want to go.
My experience in elite level training for multiple sports and my current training and experience has made me a well-rounded focused athlete committed to taking on the challenges that I set for myself. I have a zest for life and health that is contagious and a passion for people is something that I take pride in.

What you can expect from me as a trainer

As a trainer I believe that fitness is a balancing mechanism that can enrich and enhance all aspects of life. The benefits of a healthy balanced lifestyle are too many to ignore. I am passionate about working with people and setting health goals that are challenging and at the same time achievable, that don’t end when they walk out the door. I will work with you to find the balance that works for you with a program that is challenging, full of variety and fun that leaves you with a sense of accomplishment after each session. Both in and out of the gym I take a vested interest in my clients’ health and wellness. Whatever your fitness goals may be I will be committed and passionate about helping you get there.
